About Spiritus Partners

We're a growing startup building software for safety assurance in healthcare and other industry settings.  We’re looking for people excited about working with new technologies including blockchain and containerisation, and using them to build innovative solutions to critical safety problems which impact lives.

Inspired by shared value principles, Spiritus supports innovation at the intersection of business, society and the academy.

Our offices in Edinburgh's New Town are conveniently located for public transport, and we offer flexibility around working hours and the option to work from home.

You will lead the architecture, design, and engineering of our ground-breaking, cloud-based system for tracking critical infrastructure assets across their lifecycle. You will drive key decisions around technology selection, systems architecture, development methods and techniques, release strategies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment. This is an opportunity to have a big influence on company direction in an energizing environment, and to explore and employ new technologies as part of a technologically innovative project.

You will define end-to-end systems architectures for our solutions, and own and manage the entire implementation and delivery lifecycle.  You'll also scale the platform, improve and expand the CI/CD pipeline, and establish a high-performing release management environment. Working collaboratively with our clients and our team to define product direction and appropriate architecture decisions, you'll then build robust product within a long-term roadmap.

You’ll also collaborate with our academic partner on implementing state of the art cryptography and security technologies, and represent Spiritus in client meetings and external events.  You will feel comfortable working on your own initiative, and have excellent communications skills. You'll be working in a dynamic environment, co-ordinating tasks with a small team of highly skilled colleagues.
