Responsibilities

You will translate the company’s vision and business strategy into a high-growth, differentiated product line at the intersection of clinical asset management, sterile services, and infection prevention and control.  Target segments are health systems and large hospitals in the UK, Canada and US markets.

Characterised by a learning mindset, business and technical savvy, strong work ethic and drive to support client success, you will act as product champion.

You’ll be responsible for all aspects of the Healthcare Services product line, including:

  • Managing the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

  • Conducting market research using multiple channels supported by on-going calls and visits to prospects and clients, and using this to specify market requirements for current and future products

  • Developing and continuously evaluating product-market fit and value proposition, including regular updates of competitive landscape and SWOT assessments

  • Preparing and maintain the product roadmap, including features and enhancements for short and long-term releases based on business opportunities and market research

  • Preparing product launch and release plan, including key market messages, presentations, communications strategies and product training requirements – internal and external (e.g. release notes, demonstrations and technical support requirements)

  • Developing go-to-market strategy and plan, including direct sales and distribution through potential partnerships and/or systems integrators

  • Developing and delivering presentations for internal and external audiences, either in person or through workshops, symposia, or trade shows

  • Supporting RFI and RFP activities, developing and maintaining Q&A libraries

  • Developing and refining value delivery metrics based on industry research and actual client results

  • Acting as liaison between sales, client service, marketing support, and technology functions to support product positioning and establishing appropriate service levels for the product line

  • Creating and maintain product profit and loss documents

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in software product, including development, iteration and communication skills

  • Knowledge of solution development lifecycle management and agile development methodologies

  • Strong people and communication skills coupled with savvy and maturity needed to gain respect and confidence of senior management and clients

  • Conscientious self-starter, imbued with a team mindset, who exceeds expectations and operates effectively in ‘white space’

  • Adept at building and sustaining mutually beneficial relationships aligned with the company’s high standards for professionalism, integrity and self-mastery

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without authority

  • Demonstrated success in defining, launching and maintaining excellent products

  • Basic knowledge of web development platforms databases and infrastructure

  • Efficient at working with Windows, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

  • Familiar with enterprise software systems

  • Positive attitude and demonstrated optimism

Desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Degree in health or life sciences

  • Product management/project management certification

  • Healthcare industry experience and deep understanding of healthcare operations

  • Knowledge of distributed ledger technology (DLT)/blockchain
