Responsibilities:

You will craft high-quality, efficient, reusable, modular software in collaboration with the lead architect and other developers on our groundbreaking cloud-based system for tracking medical devices throughout their lifecycle, and support the ongoing integration and automation of numerous systems.

This is an opportunity to have a big influence on company culture and direction in an energizing environment, and work with new technologies on a greenfield project.  The main working language will initially be JavaScript (Node.js), and you will also have some exposure to Blockchain technologies (Ethereum, Hyperledger).

You'll also collaborate with other team members to scale the platform and improve and expand the CI/CD pipeline used to test and deploy services.

You will feel comfortable working on your own initiative, and have excellent communication skills. You'll be working in a dynamic environment, co-ordinating tasks with a small team of highly skilled colleagues.
 

Required:

·       3+ years of experience with one or more of the following: JavaScript, Python, JSON, Docker, RESTful APIs, HTML5

·       Demonstrated ability to craft robust, elegant applications

·       Experience with agile software development

·       Relational and NoSQL databases

·       Good understanding of REST APIs, Service Orientated Architecture and Microservices

·       Exposure to working in a DevOps model, continuous integration/continuous delivery in a cloud deployment environment

·       Knowledge of data security and encryption

·       Strong analytical skills

·       Self-motivated learner, able to work without continual direction

·       Meticulous attention to detail

·       Strong verbal and written communication

·       Thorough documentation and proper test coverage
 

Desirable:

·       Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience

·       Industry experience in Healthcare

·       Development with Ethereum, Multichain, Hyperledger (or equivalent)

·       Jenkins, Travis
